The recovery of the ex-gasometer is an opportunity for urban renewal and re-design of an entire district. The project needs a mix of public and private investments, as it happened in the successful experiences in Berlin, Paris and Barcelona in the 90’s. Consensus strategies will be developed through housebuildings, that will be necessary for public spaces maintainance. The land lots will be sell to private investors that can build their house according to personal aesthetic and functional needs, taking advantage of the infrastructures and facilities of the area. This approach leads to an image of a dynamic city able to satisfy dreams and needs of its inhabitants.
